Wednesday May 21st 2014: character traits, Wind in the Willows

Today after some refresher work on fractions we worked on the traits of the main characters in Wind in the Willows using spider diagrams and then went outside to act out and film some scenes from the book. The two scenes we worked on were Toad's appearance in court and when Badger locked Toad up to try and stop him from driving. 

We think some children are destined for the stage!

Tuesday May 20th: drama and role play, Wind in the Willows

Today Class 3 had a go at dramatising the part of the book where Ratty and Mole brave the Wild Wood to find Badger's house. Once they have found Badger's house they all talk together about to help Toad overcome his obsession with motor cars...

The productions are still in the early stages but there were lots of interesting ideas and enthusiastic acting! We had great fun!
