VE Day Party

Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 completed their topic on World War 2 with a VE Day Party! They dressed in 1940s outfits for the occasion and helped to prepare food and decorations for the event, before enjoying eating and dancing at the party, set out like a street party, but in the classrooms at this time of year...

Our Victorian Banquet: November 29th

Here we are enjoying the food that we made yesterday and this morning with the help of Mrs Andrew. Thanks to the children for taking some great photographs.

Tomorrow we will be sampling the delights of a Victorian feast, but first we have to make some of the food. This afternoon we made scones and cheese straws. We had to follow the recipe and convert from ounces to grammes so there was some maths to complete as well as cooking!

The Bressingham Sandwich Shack!

Today we spent the day writing instructions, making our packaging and producing some fantastic sandwiches....

Apple, banana and gherkin on white bread...lots of people tried gherkins for the first time and thought they were really tasty!

Brilliant sandwiches which everyone thoroughly enjoyed eating - and everyone had a try of other sandwiches too to get an idea of other flavours. We tried to add extra vegetables to ensure the sandwiches were healthy.


An extra lunch enjoyed by all!
