We had a really inventive science lesson today on the theme of protecting our eyes from the sun. After discussion about the eye and its component parts we designed and made our own sunglasses...
The Light Fantastic! Tuesday March 21st 2017
Today Mrs Waller organised a great afternoon of science experiments so that we could investigate different properties of light including reflection and seeing light through special lenses. Amongst other things we discovered how to walk along a curvy line without looking at it and how to make ourselves look very different by distorting mirrors.
