.......and tried out some exciting new skills.
Before break we wrote some haiku poems about the natural world and afterwards we folded paper to make origami cranes, whales, houses and packmen. Cranes were definitely the most difficult!
After lunch we made sushi using carrots, cucumber and avocado. Everyone had a go and most people had a taste - some children really liked it!
The children also made line drawings in the style of Hokusai...
What an interesting and entertaining introduction to Japan!
