We cut the flowers off the amaryllis so it looked healthy. We wondered whether the flowers might produce seeds but now we do not think so. We looked in our encyclopaedia and we think a plant has to be pollinated by all sorts of insects which we have not had in our class room.
The Hyacinth looks very sad dull droopy and dry
